One of the key-sectors in which STartAL is focused is around educational activities.
Here are our suggestions:
- Study and execution, with the support of dedicated operators, of educational projects directed to schools of every type and level
- Different kinds of specialized guided tours and routes on the territory and inside the main museums, palaces and monuments
- Wine and food itineraries to discover the typical products of our territory
- Our operators are didactics specialists and – even if young, as well as all our staff – they have several experiences behind and possess all the proper humanistic and scientific skills in order to communicate the contents and interact with all kinds of audience.
Children and teenagers are endowed with an immense creative power and an incredible imagination, enviable conditions for a profitable relation with art and cultural expressions.
Starting from school year 2007/2008 STartAL has proposed the primary and secondary school teachers “Impronte in città”: a series of suggestions of educational routes in the town and the district of Alessandria.
The goal is to introduce students to the historical-artistic resources of our territory, to stimulate their curiosity towards the history, the culture of their own territory, to approach and interest – in an enjoyable manner – the youngest audience to the knowledge of their own roots.
Object of some routes are the town most representative buildings and monuments; while other routes show the students
the story of a famous company, or propose the tour to some quite special museums…
In combination with the educational routes we have studied and worked out educational laboratories for the investigation of the subjects dealt with, which can be performed by the students in their classrooms with the support of one of our operators.
The educational routes and laboratories activity is meant to stimulate in a young audience, increasingly observant and demanding, curiosity towards the history and the culture of their own territory, knowledge of their own roots.
For School Year 2008-2009 a series of new educational proposals for schools, named “Architettando”, linked to our town territory, is ready. 
The tour to a museum, a temporary exhibition or a significant monument can be made even more interesting if guided by specialized personnel, who can help better appreciate the route most significant aspects. A tour, provided with the proper media, can turn into a really exciting experience, enriching the visitor, who is rightly demanding in terms of quality and expertise.
Monuments, museums, exhibitions…discovering our territory, its history and its culture. STartAL is able to organize guided tours for groups of adults, as they can count on professional Tourist Guides. Our operators dedicated to guided tours are selected basing on a valuable Curriculum Studiorum and receive a specific training program based on both the tour contents and the relational procedures with the audience. Language and contents are regulated according to the different kinds of audience.
